Stephen J. Ducat, N.D., Ph.D. - Stephen is a naturopathic doctor and clinical psychologist, licensed in both professions in California, with offices in San Francisco and Marin. He obtained his ND from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, and received his PhD from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. Specializing in integrative mental health, his aim is to bring together the best of a relational approach to psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis with a functional and natural medicine orientation to neurochemistry. He believes that by simultaneously attending to how patients metabolize the world psychologically as well as nutritionally, psychiatric conditions can be addressed in the most holistic manner possible.

Ricky Fishman, D.C. - Ricky has been a Doctor of Chiropractic since 1986, and the Co-Director of Chiromedica, an Integral Holistic Health Care Center, since 1988. As a leader in the field of Integral Healing, he has brought together and assimilated the work of Chiropractors, Medical Doctors, Acupuncturists, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Physical Therapists and Massage Therapists. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Fishman worked as the staff Chiropractor for the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic from 1986-2002, where he participated as part of a broad based group of health care providers, working to deliver services to the uninsured population of San Francisco. To complement his clinical work, Dr. Fishman was a Professor of Humanities at New College of California for over twenty years and has also taught Integrative Medicine at both the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco and the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley.

Celina Pagani-Tousignant, MA -Celina has managed an EAP program at Pacific Gas & Electric Co, as well as Work/Family Initiatives at Levi Strauss & Co in 1980s and 1990s. Since late 1990s, she has taken a number of influential positions including the President of the local EAPA San Francisco Chapter, Vice Chair of Examinations of Employee Assistance Certification Commission, and Co-Chair of the Friends of Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute Board at UCSF among others. She continues to teach EAP, Work/Life, and Corporate Social Responsibility at Boston College, World at Work, John F Kennedy University, and institutions in Chile, Mexico and Germany. She is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist, and holds MA in Psychology from John F Kennedy University.

Minna Yoon, N.D., L.Ac. - Minna is a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist, licensed in both professions in California and practices in San Francisco. She obtained her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and Master of Science of Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She is currently further advancing her study in Dermatology. Minna helps people to bring the body into balance and optimize their health through natural means, and can work in conjunctions with pharmaceuticals if needed. Minna is the legislative chair for the California Naturopathic Doctors Association and a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).

Advisors to Teen Wellness

Benjamin W. Van Voorhees, M.D., M.P.H., Technical Advisor- Dr. Van Voorhees is currently Chief, Section of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at University of Illinois, Chicago. He received is his Doctor of Medicine from Vanderbilt University, and his Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins. The limitations of current treatment approaches, barriers to care and damage caused to the development of adolescents by depression led Dr. Van Voorhees to develop an alternative strategy, a combined primary care web-based depression prevention intervention. His work has been supported by the Centers for Disease Control, NARSAD and RWJ Foundations and the National Institutes of Mental Health.

Monika Marko-Holguin, MA, Advisor- Monika Marko-Holguin is currently Research Specialist, Developmental Psychology at University of Illinois Chicago. She received Master in Developmental Psychology at University of Chicago and Bachelor in Psychology & Statistics at DePaul University. She has been managing the study implementation of Project CATCH-IT (Competent Adulthood Transition with Cognitive-Behavioral and Interpersonal Training) at both University of Chicago and University of Illinois Chicago. She has co-authored numerous articles on the project on peer-reviewed psychology journals.
